This two bedroom apartment is a fantastic place to stay in Queenstown. Conveniently located on Ballarat street.

With a great selection of restaurants, bars, beach front and activities at your doorstep this apartment does offer one complimentary car parking space, so no need to stress with finding that inner city carpark when you can walk everywhere.

Ballarat Gem is part of an older apartment block and the exterior does appear slightly dated and is well maintained. It does have amazing views being on the first level with carpark access from the front door. There are no stairs required to access this property.

The interior of the apartment was renovated from the original layout and is a lovely, warm and comfortable place to stay. One bedroom overlooks the lake with a queen bed while the other is a little more quieter and smaller with a double.

An open plan kitchen is equipped with a four hob stove top and oven, plunger coffee, kettle, toaster and all the crockery, cutlery and glassware for you to cook up a meal and enjoy with a glass of wine.

There is also complimentary Wifi. The apartment has been fitted out to be homely and comfortable while still being spacious for four guests

The bathroom consist of a vanity, large mirror, toilet and enclosed shower. The water pressure is low due to the construction and age of the building yet adequate. Hot water is supplied through a cylinder and is efficient and enough for four guests

Noise from town can sometimes be heard due to the close proximity of the property to the town centre and the main road. Along with the possibility of unexpected noise from traffic the property is part of a complex and sometimes neighbouring units can create noise.

The property has been double glazed for noise reduction and the road has been designed to create very little acoustic noise. The Views and Location are the winning features of this property with the ability to be a perfect base for exploring the city. With a 5 minute walk into town and no need to stress about finding a carpark with one available onsite free of charge.
