O.J. Brochs Gate is located in Møhlenpris, a neighborhood in Bergen with a rich industrial history and a clear focus on urban renewal. The area combines older brick buildings with newer residential developments and is undergoing further transformation, especially toward Dokken, which is being planned as a new urban district with housing, businesses, culture, and recreational spaces.

The street is within walking distance of the University of Bergen, the Maritime Museum, parks, cafés, and thrift shops. The neighborhood has a lively, urban feel with a young and diverse residential community. Public transportation is easily accessible, and there are several parking options nearby.
