We have stayed in StIgnace/Mackinaw city every summer for the past 14 years. We’ve stayed at a wide arrange of hotels, this is hands down the best kept and nicest we have ever stayed. There are no other hotels off island that compare. Seriously.

An absolutely great hotel and location.
Very clean overall, rooms had hooks and space to hang and place clothing and bags. The workout facility was one of the best I've seen in a hotel - a good set of dumbbells, pulley machine, and plenty of cardio equipment. A nice pool and the hot tub was outside, but a smaller. A roof patio to take in the view. A small, but ample bar. The breakfast was very good as well and staff made sure it was stocked and clean - coffee was good as well - even had bagels and waffles in a to-go bag.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future.
