Absolutely gorgeous apartment! It was about a 50 taxi ride from the cruise port and very walkable to bus stops for easy access to the town center. The owner was incredibly accommodating with our requested early check-in for a minimal fee.We had 6 adults staying there and there was more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, communication was excellent, and having a grocery store just a block away was a huge bonus.Overall, it was a great value for everything you get, and we would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity comes up.

The fourth bedroom and third bath had a strong smell of mildew. We ran the fan but we were unable to use the fourth (master) bedroom because of this. We contacted the property managers but they were unable to get someone over to help out with this. They were on the ball but it just didn’t work out. Thankfully we didn’t need to use that bedroom. The set up for the family that had two kids, ages 10 & 8, worked perfectly as they had an adjoining bedroom that had a queen for the parents and two twins for the adults. On another note, the hot water while nice to have in abundance, came out very hot and might be a danger to little ones if not supervised. Also, there was no heat which probably works fine most of the tourist season but we were a bit cold at night and had not planned for it. If we had had warmer pjs, it would have been fine. We couldn’t find any extra blankets which would have helped also. I am just trying to be honest here and prepare folks for this unit. With a few adjustments it could be a 5 star place. The neighborhood was quant and the hosts gave lots of suggestions about where to eat and get groceries which we appreciated.

Atelier Dionysiou exceeded all our expectations! When looking for the address on Google Maps the area looks run down because of all the graffiti. Don’t let that discourage you. All of Athens suffers from an overload of graffiti. The area is actually quite nice, very safe and within 25 to 40 minutes walking from downtown and the main attractions. The apartment itself is almost too nice to be a short-term rental. All the furniture is of high quality and great taste. The open kitchen is well appointed with an induction stove, sharp knives, a large fridge, good quality pots and pans, and even a professional citrus press. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very modern. Most of all, the owners and the managers were very concerned about our comfort and wellbeing and easy to communicate with. We truly could not have found a better place for our family to spend the holiday season together.

The stay was fantastic, good location with lots of food options close by. The host was super responsive when we had questions and was super welcoming with great food recommendations nearby.
