We had a lovely stay at this villa in Canggu. The villa was beautiful, the pool was really nice and we loved the privacy it offered. The breakfast was also delicious and the staff made our stay very enjoyable. The only minor downside was the water pressure in the shower, which could have been a bit stronger. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this villa for a relaxing stay in Canggu!

Everything about this stay was amazing! The staff were honestly the highlight of the whole experience, such beautiful, welcoming people who made the stay even better. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning was icy cold (which was so good in Bali!), and everything was just great from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again!

La Tropica is a lovely, recently built hotel in Canggu, out of the main drag which also means its nice and quiet. Our room, one of the private pool villas, was large, well apointed and very comfortable. The in-house spa is great, wonderful massage at a great price. Breakfast was standard continental style, western fare, but was well cooked, and replaced often. The bed especially was lovely, and having our own pool was a massive win. Hotel is very well priced and above all, the staff are LOVELY.
This hotel, while lovely now, feels like it will have an expiration date. The contruction feels like its just good enough, and won't stand the test of time. Shower didn't drain well, and there were visible cracks in some wall joints despite the hotel celebrating their 1 year anniversary while we were there, maybe they'll renovate early and often, but that obviously brings its own set of headaches, including late night works in a friends room in the main hotel.

The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The staff was very friendly and professional.
The breakfast options were limited. For a hotel like this, I would suggest offering an open buffet so guests can choose according to their dietary needs and preferences. My stay included breakfast, yet I was charged extra for oat milk, which I found disappointing.
Additionally, maintenance work was taking place during the day without any prior notice. I was only informed via a note left in my room upon arrival.
