The views were incredible, especially from our private balcony and the public viewing deck. The room was spacious and comfortable, which was exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking. There were also decent dinner options and a café serving breakfast.

Hostel bed is very affordable. Incredible views from hostel room. Only 4 of us in the room (total 6 beds). Shower is good. Room is clean. Bunks have a curtain, light and plug sockets. Space in room for hiking backpacks etc. Restaurant and coffee shop are very good. Incredible views and place to stay during Tiger Leaping Gorge 2 day hike. Very good breakfast options too.
Only minor complaint is that a lot of the lunch/dinner options were sold out, even around 4pm.

The view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The chairs were comfortable to sit and relax on which was lovely after a day of hiking. The room was very large with lots of space. The cafe on top was absolutely beautiful- coffee delicious and the views were incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very easy to find and well signposted along the hike.
There was a lot of noise coming from the cafe and other rooms at night time/early in the morning. The staff did their best to ask people to be quiet, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the walls are very thin and its easy to hear talking from other rooms, and banging from above. Not ideal after a long day hiking when you want to relax. The breakfast was just okay, could be some more options.
