The apartment is centrally located in a very safe and nice area of Lyon perfect for seeing the old city. There is a Metro station a few minutes walk and with lots of buses available nearby. The apartment is large and in a traditionally old building.
A few maintenance issues.

Very responsive host. Happy to report this is a “real” listing. We stayed in summer / late July. Can get hot. No AC. Bathroom gets stuffy and hot. 5-10 min walk across river to Old Town + Saint Jean + funicular. Place Bellcour right down the street. Overall well maintained. Very quiet.
Would consider staying again - but maybe fall or spring. 2nd floor of building. Need to climb some stairs.

Location was perfect - central to old & yeah new Lyon. Host was helpful & provided early check-in.
Linens need replacement - fitted sheet too small for bed & very old. More towels would be nice. Unit needs more maintenance. Old building, no A/C, needs more lighting. Not great value for money.
