Good apartment near the B'ham city center. There is a kitchen, TV and one ventilator. Plenty of space.
Very slow Wi-Fi internet.
Confusing system with security deposit and providing passport scan. Booking.com asks NOT TO provide any documents and NOT TO follow any hyperlinks provided via Booking messages. Despite this, the apartment sends a link via Booking.com messages to provide a copy of the guest passport and to pay security deposit 200 GBP in order to get the key lock code for the apartment.
No air conditioning.
Flower pots on the windows were turned into ash bins, - full of cigarette butts.

Great location near the centre of Birmingham, really walkable to get everywhere you’d want to be in the city. Apartment is clean, decorated lovely and really spacious. They provide a lot of extras such as toiletries, towels, tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc. This is clearly a host that really cares about providing an exceptional service!
There’s a security deposit of £200 that I did not see mentioned until I had already booked. I understand it’s to protect the apartment but it seems excessive. I paid an extra £10 damage waiver fee as I knew myself and my friend wouldn’t cause any damage but you can’t be too careful handing over large sums of money when you do not know the hosts intentions. I think this is something that should be mentioned on the booking page so you can decide if you’re comfortable with it before booking.

Property was nice, spacious and clean.
