We were looking for a place with three beds and two baths and found this basement apartment. It made a great base camp to explore the many sites around Colorado Springs. It was about 20 minutes in traffic to most places we wanted to see. The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen is upstairs and shared with the homeowner but we were too busy site seeing to use it. There is a metal screen door between their dining room and the stairway but they were so quiet in the evening we never heard them. There is a refrigerator downstairs that we did use. And a dining table for meals if you choose. There is also a washer/dryer which was great. The homeowners were very nice and we visited a few times. It worked out great for us and afforded us the space we wanted for a reasonable price. We were very happy with the stay. Thanks to the lovely homeowners for sharing a bit of their home with us.

Warning, not mobility friendly. There are steep steps to the basement where the living quarters are. This needs to be included in the posting. It was difficult for my husband to navigate the stairs. The living and sleeping quarters are very good. Clean and comfortable. Needs more privacy. I suggested to Nadia, the host, that a privacy door or screen would add to the privacy/ sound factor. It is uncomfortable when the host uses the same entrance as the guest, and there is no barrier between the entryway and the guest living quarters. The kitchen is shared with the host. This also needs to be disclosed in the posting. The living quarters has a refrigerator. I suggested adding a microwave as well. Nadia was very friendly, and she was very receptive to my suggestions. She will hopefully act to improve the setup.

My stay with Nadia was phenomenal! They provided great service and the area was clean. Recommend staying when visiting Colorado Springs!

We've stated the number of verbos around Colorado and by far this has been the best experience that we've had. The property owner was a joy to work with and such a pleasant person. I would recommend this five star to anyone who would go through verbal for a rental even though it is a basement apartment. It was super clean and so comfortable again. Couldn't recommend this more
