Ski Villa, Modern Calm and Cozy Lakeside Villa Rooms Anuradhapura City Sri Lanka

Nichts.

The house owners were absolutely lovely, kind gentle people. They went above and beyond to accomodate us. Giving us a burner and kitchen facilities upon request to help us with our stay, their manager was on call 24/7 to give us advice, recommendations and help. When we left they were kind enough to give us a small gift, which really touched our hearts. Lovely humble people, the room was absolutely spotlessly clean, couldn't fault it. Great location, close to major supermarkets and old town/ bike rentals/ restuarants

Nothing, couldn't fault a thing ( I don't usually leave reviews but had to give credit where due)

Room was clean and comfortable. Balcony was nice and private. Location was in a quiet area and near the lake, but still near to lots of restaurants.

Kitchen was basic - lacked fridge and cooking appliances. Air conditioning was advertised for our deluxe double balcony room, however upon arrival we were asked to pay a hefty fee to use the AC (which was in the room already). Apparently we booked a non AC room, however from our end there was no option for AC/non AC when we booked, which lead to confusion and misunderstanding. After some backwards and forwards with the staff and the owner, we tried to comprise a fair price since it was a miscommunication between both parties, but they weren't willing to work with us at all. Throughout out stay, the issue did make us feel slightly unwelcome and uncomfortable even though we had evidence to support our case which was shame as otherwise it would've been a great stay.
