Beautiful historic house, comfortable beds, nice sitting areas to hang out in, quiet neighborhood. Even though the B&B seemed full, we didn’t hear other guests.
The only complaint we have is that the breakfast bar ran out of coffee in the morning and I don’t think there were any staff around to refill it. Not the end of the world though, there is a coffee shop in walking distance down towards the lakefront.

It was very quiet. The property was beautiful places to sit outside and watch the deer exceeded our expectations.
The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. We have stayed here before, and the beds were very comfortable so we were a little surprised that this bed was one of the hardest beds we have slept in in a hotel or vacation rental

The location was great and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The second story balcony was delightful for my late September visit. Nice bonus to the room.
My room had a claw foot tub and shower. I am a senior and getting in and out of the tub was scary. It was a high step and the tub had no safety bar or shower mat for secure footing. The shampoo/ conditioner/ bath soap was located outside the tub which created another reach that was uncomfortable.
Removing shoes before walking on the property floor was also unusual. Perhaps a chair and place to store shoes near door?? Confusing

Oh my gosh what a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful mansion in a lovely neighborhood. Super clean, the bed and chairs were so comfy and taking a bath in the clawfoot tub was so relaxing. Morning coffee with blueberry lemon cake and blueberry muffins on the porch outside our room was heavenly!
Taking our shoes off to insure the floors were kept as beautiful for all who visit was no problem but it would be nice if you offered one of those long handled shoehorns by the door for those of us who are no longer so nimble 😊.
