Nice apartment, very clean. Possibility to leave luggage a bit longer in a safe store after check out. Self-check in with a passcode.

No bottles of water, tea/coffee or anything at all available for the guests. The host requests to empty the bins before leaving (even if the final cleaning is included in the price). Challenging to reach the place with public transport. Queen beds.

Excellent stay. Very nice studio with well-equipped kitchen, balcony, and comfortable bed. Location was better than expected - about 15-20 minutes walk into the centre of Funchal and the coast. Self check-in was simple and we were able to store our bags on departure day.

It would have been nice to have more coffee pods provided and some proper shower gel (rather than just hand soaps).

Parkowanie samochodu, hałas z pobliskiego przedszkola, brak kuchenki mikrofalowej lub piekarnika

The host was very nice and the kitchen had everything (except microwave) that you needed

We had a ground floor room (room I) that did not look like the photos that were published online. The room was very very small, and the walls had damages. I’m not sure if that was because of humidity or because it hasn’t been touched up for a long time. The bathroom absolutely stunk and there is no natural ventilation or light which caused a horrible smell. We had to close the bathroom door all day because of the smell (it was quite toxic). Also, all the other rooms had small chairs and table and we did not, we had to ask to share with our neighbours and eat in a passage. We were in general disappointed with what appeared on the photos to the reality. I think that if you choose to go to an apartment it’s because you are going to spend more time there and cook, and in the conditions it was in, I wouldn’t recommend a long stay.
