Spacious, comfortable and very quiet, with a charming seating area outside and private parking, but just a short walk up the hill to the town. Well equipped for self catering. A huge, comfortable bed, two bathrooms for just two people- luxury! It was good to have a dishwasher, with tablets provided, and the washing machine would have been a big asset for longer stays. Great to have proper recycling facilities, and information on what could be recycled.

A good kitchen was let down by a very poor kettle. This was the tiny kind you sometimes get in B&B bedrooms and took an age to boil. A strange choice when everything else was so good.

The cottage had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. Close to the town centre with maybe a 5 minute walk, albeit up a fair slope, into the centre. Around a 10 minute walk from the train station. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area and about a 10 minute walk from the castle & market. Parking space for a car if needed but we used the train due to it only being a short walk and as we have visited Ludlow a few times we knew we wouldn't need our car whilst there.

Everything was fine, nothing to not like.

The location was perfect for reaching the town on foot, and was quiet in spite being on a street. The hosts had thought of everything and having a downstairs and upstairs bathroom was a real bonus.

All good.

Cottage was well presented with a good sized lounge and bedroom. It had all the necessary items for a relaxing stay. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well appointed including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Cottage had two toilet/shower rooms, one upstairs and one down which worked well. It was located near the town centre which meant we could leave the car at the cottage and walk or cycle everywhere which was great. The host organised a food tour around the town which we went on on our last day which was fab and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

The quilt was feather and down and one or two of the feathers came through the cover. The fig tree in the garden was growing larger and impacted on our ability to sit outside comfortably on the bench.
