Botânico Guesthouse

The owner is very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. The room was super cute and cosy, gave us a homefeeling. The kitchen was nice with everything you need. Location was also great with parking places and a grocery store (spar) close by.

Perfect stay! The house was very clean, tidy, and welcoming. We felt very comfortable and really appreciated the care and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Garden is small but nice to sit there during the evenings, of course, if it does not rain being quite frequent in Azores. Host is really helpful when you approach him with any question or need. We admired the story how to move from Italy to this remote place in Azores.

We found on the place all what we needed and enjoyed the stay. Just two warnings to new visitors. Our room (I guess termed Camelia) had toilet and shower inside, as we need. Not in all rooms toilet and shower are included and people had to share them. It can be easily overlooked when booking and lead to misunderstanding. It is an old standard local house carefully reconstructed. Therefore do not expect big (in size) rooms.

My stay at Botânico Guest House was enjoyable from start to finish. This lovely, welcoming family-run guesthouse is beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail and a warm, personal atmosphere. The hosts are kind, friendly and helpful, always happy to offer recommendations and make sure you have everything you need. The location is excellent, right in the centre of the village and within short walking distance of a supermarket, pharmacy and a delicious, authentic local restaurant. The garden is a little oasis of peace and tranquillity, with plenty of comfortable places to sit and even a hammock where you can simply relax and enjoy the silence. And, of course, it’s not called Botânico for nothing! The garden is full of beautiful plants, but also vegetables and fresh herbs that guests can use when preparing their meals. My room was bright and spacious, with comfortable bed and a convenient private bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the shared kitchen, which is extremely well equipped and thoughtfully furnished. I felt genuinely welcomed and at home and I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Nothing!
