The Bohemia was a cozy, beautifully decorated space, and my stay with my pet was very comfortable. The location is excellent: very central to Jacksonville’s Riverside neighborhood and bordering Murray Hill. The neighborhood itself is very walkable, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance along Riverside’s King Street. It’s also just a short drive to the restaurants and shops along Murray Hill’s Edgewood Avenue. The host added some very thoughtful touches to our stay, including a kind welcome note and a couple of delicious chocolate truffles. Check-in was easy with the keypad, and towels and linens were provided. The kitchen was also well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. As someone traveling with a pet, I especially appreciated that the host provided clean, nice dishes specifically for pet use. My travel bowls are on the smaller side, so these were a very welcome touch. The Wi-Fi worked well for most of our stay, with just a few connection disruptions toward the end of the day. I suspect the weather may have played a role, as we were experiencing very heavy rain at the time. Another major plus is the private driveway parking. Having a dedicated place to park was especially convenient given the street the property is located on. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and really appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made my dog and I feel welcome.

There really wasn’t much I didn’t like about the property. I did find a couple of mugs in the cupboard that appeared to have been used and put back without being washed. I don’t think this was the property’s fault at all, as it would be difficult for a housekeeper to know if someone had used a mug and then returned it to the cupboard without cleaning it. I mentioned it to the owner, and he was very appreciative that I kept him informed. The home was otherwise clean and well maintained. I did come across a few random dog hairs that were not from my own dog, but they were minimal and certainly not excessive or a major concern for me. I think that’s also somewhat understandable when staying at a pet-friendly property.

The property is close to everything and very clean. The owners were very kind and went above and beyond for us, we could not be more thankful.

Bohemia was upbeat, fun decor, and had everything I needed for a quiet week.

The TV didn’t get many stations

I love the home! It was clean; the design and forniture were so beautiful and cozy. There were all the amenities that we needed. The host was very helpful and friendly, we loved his attentions to us. The neighborhood was quiet, I felt safe. Thank you Daiv for all, your apartment and your hospitality were the best of all our trip (and we have been in 6 apartments before yours). I recommend Daiv and this home.
