The Ryebeck Hotel

Throughly enjoyed our stay as a family with our dog! Staff were super friendly and so helpful and inviting. The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and would definitely recommend and the breakfast was really tasty. Beds really comfortable and clean! Room has everything you need. Will be back for sure!

Craig and Tommy were excellent welcoming hosts and they couldn’t do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved the quirkiness, laid back feel, and atmosphere of the Ryebeck. The food was very good and we wish to pass on our compliments to the chef. The hotel’s location and its views across the Windermere are wonderful. We will certainly look to stay again. Scenic view of the lake. Much appreciated

We booked the Ryebeck for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, and we were made to feel welcome before we even arrived. Craig and his team made us feel welcome and part of the furniture. They're incredibly attentive and accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable, with a great shower. The view out over the lake is incredible, and the gardens are lovely for a stroll. Dogs are very welcome and are treated to sausages at breakfast. The Chef might be the best-kept secret ever! We were blown away by how good the food and the menu are. It can change a couple of times a week depending on what the chef can get from local producers. Breakfast was also delightful, and the French toast was unreal! It's a short walk into Bowness with plenty of parking in their car park. We are already looking at dates to book again.
