Welcome to The Famous Peacock House, a vibrant and whimsical Hawaiian getaway designed for families and friends to create unforgettable memories together. With space for large groups, thoughtful amenities, and a prime location on the lush side of the Big Island, this home is perfect for relaxation, adventure, and fun.

Please note: Like most homes on the east side of the island, this home does not have air conditioning. Instead, it is equipped with a whole-house fan, ceiling fans, and portable fans to keep the space breezy and comfortable in true island style.

Just a short walk(4 streets) to a scenic park, perfect for sunrise coffee strolls or sunset wine evenings
This side of the Big Island is famous for its lush greenery and tropical beauty
Year-round turtle sightings in the nearby waves
A scenic jungle drive leading to the island’s most recent lava flow, where new land has been created by nature
Local farmers’ markets (one just 10 minutes away on Sundays) with fresh foods, handmade crafts, and unique gifts
Opportunities for yoga, sound baths, and live Hawaiian music nearby
Additional Note
Per Hawaiian regulations for short term vacation rentals, the owner resides in a private apartment on the ground floor. Guests enjoy full access to the entire upper level and all outdoor amenities. As well as one covered parking spot and on site included laundry.

My family had the most amazing time. Matt was an incredible host! From all the amenities to opening coconuts for my eager daughter. He showed us all around the property and was very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back and I will tell everyone I know to stay at the amazing house. Thank you for all the hospitality. We are home now and missing it so much
