Villa Lefkothea is located minutes’ drive from the charming village of Georgioupoli, where you can indulge in local tavernas and a selection of shops and bars. Just a couple of minutes’ drive from the villa is a local café and a restaurant, or, if you’re seeking a meal with a picturesque view, head to Lake Kournas where turtles are nesting, and indulge at one of the excellent family-run tavernas while gazing at the of natural beauty. The larger city of Rethymnon with its old Venetian town is 30 minutes’ drive from the villa, and Chania, with its mix between modern and historical places is only 40 minutes’ drive away.
