the very best part of this was that I saw more stars than I have in 10 years. I saw the Milky Way I saw the Big Dipper, the Little Dipper and the North.star. It's unusual to see the Dipper of the Little Dipper all four stars. I haven't seen that in a decade or.more. that was completely worth the price of admission because we were out in the middle of nowhere with no lights. I was really happy about that. The tent had three single beds for the two of us which gave us some room to put our stuff down and sleep on each bed on the side so I would recommend that. I guess that was all that was available. The parking was nearby as we shuttled our stuff to the tent. Even though there were a lot of people in tents, they were spread enough apart with bushes. In between that we still felt very private.

Oh my gosh this was terrible! We use Google maps and got lost in the middle of nowhere driving around for 20 minutes or more until we contacted the guy at the desk. He figured out our location and gave us instructions and we were there in no time. But we had gone 20 minutes in the wrong direction. There were only restrooms by the main area and we were a long way from that. So I guess women had to squat. I had to have a bowel movement so I squatted and then in the morning I picked it up. Got rid of it. It looked like the biggest bear of all had come to the campsite even though there are no bears there. Don't worry about that. The other thing was that took us about a half hour to get to the Grand canyon. I think we would have stayed in Tusayan but they were booked up. But that didn't really matter in the morning.

Les toilettes sont dans les salles de bain (4) donc compliqué d'aller aux toilettes quand c'est l'heure des douches, le chemin pour acceder au camping est non goudronné et en calcaire, faire attention aux voitures, surtout pour les locations, et ca rajoute 15 minutes de route car difficile de rouler a plus de 10 mph Faire attention, il n'y a pas de serviettes de toilette ni de tapis de douche, seulement linge de lit

I loved the location. The staff were friendly. The tent was fantastic - clean and comfortable. I loved the food truck and outdoor dining. Beautiful sunset and night sky. Wonderful experience

The bathroom was pretty basic - but hey it is camping. It was fit for purpose though in that environment. It can be noisy if other guests arrive late - depends where your tent is located. I had earplugs which worked well.
