Stay Gower is delighted to present The Barn at Tyn-Y-Coed Farm, a beautifully converted four-bedroom barn set on the ground floor and surrounded by the tranquillity of the Welsh countryside. This charming retreat has been thoughtfully designed to offer a sense of space and comfort, making it perfect for families, groups of friends, celebrations, or even a romantic escape with a little extra room to unwind.

Whether you fancy a soothing soak in the private hot tub, exploring peaceful woodlands, walking the dogs through open fields, or curling up on the sofa for a cosy evening in, Tyn-Y-Coed Farm offers the perfect setting. Few places can rival the peace and seclusion here, yet you are only a short drive from Cardiff, the vibrant capital of Wales, with its wealth of shopping, nightlife and culture. The M4 is close by too, offering a straight route to the stunning Brecon Beacons, with their waterfalls, scenic walks, and endless stargazing opportunities.

On your doorstep, just a short stroll away, you’ll find a wonderful farm shop filled with local delights – homemade jams, honey, freshly baked bread, meats, fish and much more – ideal for creating a truly special breakfast or supper. A little further along is The Caesars Arms, a renowned restaurant run by a family with over thirty four years of experience in local food and produce. Known for their locally sourced produce and outstanding dishes, it is a must-visit dining experience during your stay.

Tyn-Y-Coed Farm has even welcomed celebrities and film crews, drawn by its idyllic setting and rustic charm. All four bedrooms feature double beds, en-suite bathrooms with showers, and views across lush green fields. There is also a main bathroom with a generously sized bath, perfect for long, indulgent soaks. With full central heating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and plenty of space to relax, the property is designed with your comfort in mind.

The living room boasts a large corner sofa and additional seating, ideal for relaxed evenings spent chatting or watching television together. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is perfectly suited to gathering for meals, and the well-equipped kitchen means you can make the most of all that delicious local produce. Step outside into the fully enclosed garden, where you’ll find patio furniture for outdoor dining and your very own hot tub – a truly special touch to make your stay unforgettable.

While Tyn-Y-Coed is self-catering, you’ll arrive to a thoughtful welcome pack and all the essentials to get you started, from soaps to dishwashing supplies. Towels and bed linen are provided, ensuring you can settle straight in and relax. Please ensure that you bring your own towels for use with the hot tub. Two small dogs are welcome on request, as long as house rules are followed, making it a fantastic choice for those who like to bring their four-legged companions along. We do welcome groups of friends and families, but stag and hen parties are not permitted.
