2 Willow Cottage

Would definitely stay again, the location is great, the person i spoke to before my stay was so helpful and went out of his way to provide perfect customer service

The mattress was a little uncomfortable and could do with replacing but this may just be my personal preference

Everything was good

Shared kitchen and toilet, good parking

Bed was a bit small and soft for 2 people

I was so happy to have a bed to sleep in, by the time I was in bed it was 4am Finnish time so I was completely exhausted. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for me. Despite being so close to the airport, I would say it is quite quiet. I was in room 2 with the window facing the road, and the slat blinds provided me with ample blockage of light. The location is also a benefit if you are coming in on a late flight. Overall, I would say the property was clean. I didn't notice any kind of bad smell like others have noted, and I have a sensitive nose. Tea and Coffee was provided.

The property definitely needs an uplift, I think for the price that you are paying - you'd expect it to be maintained a little better. Also there was no hand soap left? And the shower was impossible to get warm - it would swing between ice cold and boiling hot without even moving the temperature dial. It would be advisable that the property give clearer directions if walking on foot to the property. If you follow the route on Google maps, you walk down a dark side road with no footpath or verge - so it feels very dangerous with the cars zipping past. In the morning, I found a much better route, where if exiting through to the bus terminal rather than the main exit, cross terminal road where there are car boom gates at meet and greet reception, then walk up toward the property - there is a foot path for majority of the way. On satellite images, you can see a car park at the back of the property - you can cut through there to get to 2 Willow cottage. This is not only quicker but much safer in my opinion. This property does the job when in a pinch, but a better option would be to pay more for the ticket and avoid getting a late/early flight imo.
