Atelier Inn Vaticano

Very clean, comfortable room. Great air conditioning during the hot September weather and the blinds were amazing! It was nice and dark in the room when we were trying to sleep.

The only complaint we have is that we were woken up early a few times by the sound of chairs scraping/being moved. We think it was the restaurant downstairs and completely not the property's fault. Just mentioning for light sleepers that earplugs are advised!

Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia.

We originally chose Atelier Inn Vaticano due to budget constraints, but it turned out to be the absolute best decision of our entire trip to Rome! This charming, small boutique hotel is housed in a beautiful old building, which immediately gave us the wonderful feeling of living like true Roman locals rather than standard tourists. The interior aesthetics are beautiful—our room felt very clean, fresh, and had a lovely, calming wabi-sabi vibe. We booked a triple room, which was incredibly spacious and comfortable for the two of us. One of our favorite parts of the property was the cozy public patio area. It is super charming, and we loved spending our mornings having breakfast there and winding down with dinner in the evenings. The location is unbeatable if the Vatican is your main focus. The Vatican Museum entrance is literally a 2-minute walk away, and St. Peter’s Square is just a short, easy 10-minute stroll. As a bonus, the neighborhood feels incredibly safe. There are plenty of great restaurants right on your doorstep, and two supermarkets within a 3-minute walk, making it so convenient to grab snacks or drinks. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The host is absolutely superb! Our flight was slightly delayed, and they proactively checked in on our arrival status via WhatsApp to make sure everything went smoothly. If you want an affordable, safe, and beautifully designed local experience right next to the Vatican, do not hesitate to book here. We will definitely be back!
