Location was fantastic, near the canal and transport links. The flat is spacious and the beds were very comfy (except the pillows which are an easy fix). The area/apartment block was very quiet at night and we slept well. The apartment is a little odd (like maybe it wasn't always residential?) but it's well kitted out - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, coffee machine, separate toilet in addition to bathroom. Overall, it was perfectly adequate for our needs and we had a pleasant stay. We found the owner to be kind, responsive and helpful but communication style could be worked on (see below).

The owner contacted us too frequently. We understand he was keen to ensure we weren't having parties and his messages were polite and well meaning but at more than one message per day, it became excessive. He also asked us not to use the heating above the lowest level and had removed the plug from the bath so only a shower was possible. The flat was mostly clean but the shelf/window ledge next to the shower was very dirty. Each bed has one very large pillow on it which is quite hard to sleep with - normal sized pillows would be big improvement as we ended up using the small scatter cushions as pillows instead. 2 sets of keys would also be nice!

Excellent facilities and super clean. Open and comfortable! The place was clean and in a safe neighborhood. Very close to public transit and easy to get around!

Couches a little small to gather at and would have appreciated extra blankets.

La casa è bellissima, molto confortevole in una zona molto carina di Berlino. Pulita e luminosa... impeccabile! L'host gentilissimo e attento a ogni necessità Sicuramente tornerei per un prossimo viaggio
