Convenient location! Close to transport links and walkng distance to most tourist attractions. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Nice shower, good pressure. 24 hr coffee and tea available in breakfast area. Fans and Irons available from storage rooms if needed. Common areas clean, baggage storage before and after check in available. Towels at reception and rooms serviced on request. Would definitely reccomend for a solo traveller if you manage to get a more affordable price per night.

Very small room and quite expensive for the size. Room was quite cramped, definitely not suited for a couple for more than a night's stay. Windows do not open , air con could not be set lower than 18, so room got stuffy and humid very often. Some blood stains mattress protector and mattress itself (not on the sheets , duvet or pillows themselves tho). Glass and mirror could have been cleaner was face print on the glass lol, more humorous than an issue though for myself.

A bit hard to find!

The location is exceptionally good - within close walking distance to Waverley Station and Princes Street, and of course, just off the Royal Mile. The rooms were comfortable, and while not extravagantly spacious, they were more than adequate. The breakfast was great value for money and the all day free tea and coffee was much appreciated by this traveller. I stayed here over two separate occasions and two different room categories, and both were neat, clean and great value for money.

When I arrived, on quite a warm day, the ice machine was broken and one of the two lifts did not go to the ground floor. Minor annoyances, and I'm sure they were soon fixed.

No English Breakfast, TV didn't work well and not many channels, room was really small and couldn't get out of both sides of the bed
