A great new, clean aparthotel with a tiny kitchen. Smokey inside at times.
This is a fairly new aparthotel, maybe built within five years. The price for a six night stay for a family of five in mid-August was reasonable. Compared to other hotel and AirBnB options nearby, this lodging was a good value.
With four beds, we had plenty of space to sleep in. There was a nice large dining table, but the kitchen was small with limited availability for appliances. For example, there was not a rice cooker.
Two coin laundry machines were available downstairs. They were the typical small machines that you find in Japanese hotels. They were 400 yen per cycle, and it dispenses detergent, so there was no need to buy detergent.
The walk from the Kashiwa station Midori-no-madoguchi to the ReLa Kashiwa North is 650 meters and about 9 minutes walk per Google. Along this walk, there are two convenient stores, a fantastic taiyaki shop called Ebisuya, a few restaurants and bars.
There was only one mini-split air-conditioning, and it was by the dining table. The AC cooled the sleeping area after a little while, but the toilet room by the entry way and the wash area farthest from the AC unit didn't cool down much, even with the doors left open.
They had two small dryers that didn't work well. They were 100 yen per 20 minutes. Just like most dryers in Japan, the dryers vented the exhaust into the room which was a small room with a self-closing sliding door. The ceiling fan was pathetic, and didn't ventilate the humid air. Propping the door open with a trash can was the only solution I could come up with to make the dryer work well. (I did clear both lint filters inside and outside the machine every time.) Many loads of laundry needed to be hung up in the shower room to finish drying.
The small smoking room across the hallway from the laundry room also had a ceiling fan that didn't work well. The smell of cigarettes filled the hallways and stairwell. It was disgusting.
The unfortunate part about unmanned lodging like this is not having room service, and having to wash your own towels. With advance notice, the staff said they can provide a fresh set of bath towel and hand towel for 220 yen. It would have cost us 1100 yen per day for the five of us. We chose to wash them ourselves for 400 yen, and dried them in the shower room with the dryer function.
There aren't many grocery stores in the area, and I think the closest is the Keihoku near Kashiwa station, which is also 650 meters from ReLa Kashiwa North. This is a bit of a walk if the convenience stores don't carry what you need. While this is a minor inconvenience, I would guess that most guests would choose not to cook in the tiny kitchen.
There's not much of a view from the windows.

Very spacious room. Good for family.
Clean and fancy room. Lots of room for dining and open the suitcase. Very secure facility.
Cockroach in kitchen.
Just before we left, lots of water come out from the lift.
I wanted to know that washing machine isn’t in own room, it’s in sharing space and not free but bathroom drying system was amazing for drying clothes.
