Located in the unincorporated community of Bayview-just 3 miles south of the lively Kemah Boardwalk and only 3 blocks from the scenic Galveston Bay-this area offers a relaxed, country-style vibe close to the coast.
Bayview, like neighboring Bacliff, is home to a diverse mix of people and properties. Don't be surprised if you hear a rooster crowing in the afternoon-it's part of the local charm! While we're not directly on the water or beachfront, you're just minutes away from bay breezes, family restaurants and small-town character.
Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine on the porch, while listening to the trees rustle in the wind!
Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a longer stay, Kemah Cottages on Walsh offers a comfortable, family-friendly home base near the coast.

The tiny house was a cute little visit while we were visiting in Texas. It’s compact but has just about everything you could ask for. They were nice enough to leave us some snacks and coffee. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived and we’re sure the next guest will also enjoy a clean stay. The house is a short distance from various attractions. The Kemah Boardwalk was a lot of fun to see! Not the most ADA friendly but if you’re not in that position it was great! The owners were also very communicative when we had questions.
