Welcome to Modern Century Charm, a cozy and beautifully updated home in the heart of Historic West Salem! Nestled on a well-traveled street, you’ll be just steps from local coffee shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and a peaceful neighborhood park — the perfect balance of convenience and character.
Your property
Traveling with kids? We’ve thought of everything: a pack 'n play, high chair, and baby gates are all provided.
Bringing a furry friend? We’re pet friendly — your pups will feel right at home in the spacious yard.
Plus, there's ample parking: a private driveway that fits up to 3 cars, with additional street parking available.
The home is located in a lived-in residential neighborhood, so you may hear normal neighborhood sounds such as dogs, kids playing, or passing cars.
Please note: The stairs are original and a bit steep, but there’s a comfortable main-floor bedroom available for those who prefer to avoid them. For the safety of our guests, there is a security camera posted by outside the front door.

Very clean. Nicely decorated. Pet friendly, even had toys and treats for doggies. Great yard for kids or dogs. Host was very easily accessible. Great little restaurant called Annette's is easily within walking distance. As host mentioned, stairs to second floor are very steep. My husband and I, being seniors, used the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Deirdre was very helpful and responsive. The house was very clean; beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was awesome! This was the perfect spot to relax and decompress with my family while in town for a memorial. Would totally stay here again.
