The Neighborhood:

Discover the vibrant Alberta Arts District, a cornerstone of Portland's unique character! Immerse yourself in a neighborhood brimming with creativity, where colorful murals adorn buildings and independent boutiques and acclaimed eateries line the streets. Start your day with a short walk to Proud Mary for exceptional coffee, indulge in artisanal ice cream at Salt & Straw, or enjoy the green spaces of Alberta Park, just a few blocks away. For evening entertainment, consider Expatriate for cocktails, or savor brunch at Pine State Biscuits or Tin Shed. The neighborhood offers a lively atmosphere with easy walkability, in a residential setting.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — You're a block from NE Alberta Street in the Alberta Arts District, with cafes, restaurants, galleries, and shops within an easy walk. Alberta Park is a few blocks away.



🚌 Bus — TriMet Line 72 (Killingsworth/82nd Ave) runs on nearby NE Killingsworth St, with connections across the city. Check trimet.org for current routes and schedules.



🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations in the area. Portland's bike lanes make cycling a great option for exploring nearby neighborhoods.



🚗 Driving — Free public street parking is subject to posted signs and open spaces. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is another option.



✈️ Airport — Allow for current traffic when driving to PDX.



Other Things to Note:

This is a ground-floor micro-studio under the living room of the adjacent townhouse-style unit. Three exterior steps lead to the entrance; there are no stairs inside the studio. Footstep and voice noise from upstairs/adjacent guests can be audible, especially when that unit is occupied. Light sleepers may prefer another listing or want to bring earplugs or their own white-noise device.



* This studio can also be booked with the adjacent townhome. A connecting door stays locked unless both listings are booked together.



** The studio is on the ground floor, beside an industrial building that faces NE Alberta. Noise from nearby bars, restaurants and other city activity can sometimes be audible.

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team cleans between stays, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests

10 PM - 7 AM (house rules)



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



The studio and upstairs townhome share the air-conditioning system and need matching heating or cooling modes.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
