Host didn't answer our call, very hard to find the location of the key

This was a wonderful home away from home for our 3 days in Bratislava. The location was within easy walking distance to most everything, and had transportation nearby. The studio was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Our host was very generous by gifting us some of their delicious honey. This is somewhere that I would definitely stay again.

Although the location was great, I felt a little uncomfortable about going through the courtyard in the evening to the door that leads to the apartments since that area doesn’t have much lighting. The only other (little) issue is that the pillows were too soft for our liking, but that is a personal thing, others may like a soft pillow.

Lovely, funky little appartment with a relaxing vibe and comfortable surroundings. TV was awesome! Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have an oven and washing machine to use.

Hot water tap in bathroom was a bit dodgy… but I’m literally saying that as there was nothing else wrong! We had an issue with wifi on the first evening (NOT the property’s fault) and the property team were very helpful and this was at 10pm. Could not have asked for more!

The apartment itself is cute, comfortable, and in a great Old Town location (though a bit complicated to find). The TV worked perfectly, and the "honey bar" featuring local honey was a unique, charming touch. Note to people with mobility issues: It is up several flights of steps that were fine for us, but may not be for others.

The Bad: The actual owners have the potential for a lovely space, but they made a mistake hiring their property management company. Despite a $50 cleaning fee, basic essentials were neglected. There was active mold in the shower, no sheets on the bed, a shower curtain in desperate need of replacement, no paper towels, and only a half-used roll of toilet paper. The portable A/C unit doesn't vent outside, blowing hot, humid exhaust right back into the room, and the pictured tea box I was so looking forward to trying with their delicious honey was empty. The Hassle: Their AI driven management was incredibly frustrating. They aggressively pushed for local taxes to be paid to an external bank account instead of the platform's 'pay at property' option. When our bank flagged it as a fraud alert, we were trapped in an instant, automated AI messaging loop that couldn't provide real human help. Overall it is potential a wonderful apartment completely overshadowed by cheap maintenance and robotic management. Most certainly not worth the hassle.
