The GreenHouse Capsules

Not too far from city centre. Decent price. Capsules are not big but enough for a good night's sleep. Lockers (individual) and a fridge (shared) are provided, as are towels and basic toiletries. Everything seemed clean. Can't expect perfect privacy or silence in a capsule hotel, but personally I haven't had any issues with noise during my stay.

No dedicated space for your personal belongings inside the capsule (no shelves or pockets, only a couple of wall hooks), so your phone, wallet, etc. have to go in the locker or directly on the mattress. Only 2 bathrooms for up to 8 people, and one of those is a half-bathroom (no shower).

Superb value. As a capsule hotel there are clear compromises: it's very cramped and, even though all the other guests behaved excellently, you still can't help but hear people as they move around. That acknowledged, it is excellent. The self-service instructions were very clear and it was great to see rules everywhere on keeping quiet. The facilities were very clean with a nice toilet and shower. Everything is thought through - particularly the ear plugs, headphones, tooth brush and cleaning items you get included. The separate area for preparing food and eating was a really nice inclusion.

The door to the capsule wasn't very secure. One of the metal brackets was bent and, if someone wanted to, it would have been easy to force open. It made me feel a little insecure when I was sleeping.

Great location, responsive staff. Very suitable for a quick stay.

Decent, facilities were mostly as expected. Clean. Would be excellent if there was a little more polish on the execution.

It got very hot in the pods even though they seem to come with multiple fan modes, only the lowest setting was actually working. Guests ended up sleeping with the doors open which completely negates the point of the capsules. Might as well be a glorified hostel at that point. Also very little space for baggage in the lockers or even the shared room itself so ended up sleeping with my bag. While they do advertise the pods as not noise-proof; I don't think they could get any MORE not noise-proof if they tried!
