The Space:

Our family-friendly chalet is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families or groups of friends.



The cabin includes:

- 4 bedrooms, 2 with a queen bed in each, 1 with a queen/twin bunk bed (sleeps 3!), and 1 with a set of regular bunks

- 2 full baths, 1 downstairs between 2 bedrooms, and 1 upstairs between the other 2 bedrooms

- Fully-equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher

- Smart TV where you can quickly sign-in to your favorite streaming service

- Wood burning fireplace to stay cozy on chilly nights

- Wifi strong enough for streaming movies and taking video calls

- AC and heat to keep you comfortable, no matter the weather

- Washer and dryer



Outside, you’ll also find:

- Outside fire pit with seating for the whole gang

- Hot tub perfect for relaxing after an afternoon hike

- Grill while enjoying the great outdoors on the deck



Our cabin is located in The Woods Resort, a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. It’s considered the best course in the area, and the pub food is pretty great too!



During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute walk from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:



- Indoor heated swimming pool

- Large whirlpool

- Tennis court

- Racquetball court

- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball

- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines



(Note: because the Sports Center is for members only, we need to set aside guest passes for your use. We’re charged a per-day fee for each guest over 5 years old – but we’re happy to provide these for you free of charge! If you plan to use the Sports Center, just call or text us that morning and we’ll be sure they set aside passes for you and your group.) :)



We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).



Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are. The cabin is 5 minutes to Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area with nearly 23,000 acres of old growth forest that’s full of hiking trails and hosts a large lake. The Hedgesville / Berkeley Springs area is great for so many reasons -- and Sleepy Creek Chalet is just a short drive to everything. The town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, with dozens of shops and restaurants, and even a brewery and winery!
