Location, clean, good size, quality
Heating system on the ground floor had not thermostat. So when I left the heaters on place will be over heated and when I turned it off it would get super cold over night. It makes sense to install a permanent thermostat to turn the fireplace on and off automatically.

A well presented, large house which is well located within an easy walk to the town centre & lake.
There was nothing.

Clean property with parking. It’s within walking distance to Lake Tekapo, and from the windows and balcony you can see Lake Tekapo, the Church of the Good Shepherd, and the surrounding mountain ranges from a distance over nearby houses (though it’s not right by the lake). The place has all the necessary appliances.
It felt a bit overpriced, likely because we booked last minute during the holiday season. The property is not very new. The keybox code was sent a few hours before check-in.
