Lovely house, great location!

Beautiful place to vacation!

Our stay at Folly Beach was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful and the location is breathtaking—right on the beach with incredible views. The house itself is a special place, very well cared for, spotless, and truly lovely.We especially loved waking up in the morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean and seeing the surfers out on the water. It was also great that the home is dog-friendly, as our dogs enjoyed the trip just as much as we did.We had a fantastic time exploring the area, including a wonderful dinner in town at Folly Beach and another memorable evening at Hall’s in Charleston. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely love to come back.

We specifically asked if there was an elevator, and Casago repeatedly replied in writing that the house had an elevator. Strangely, once we booked we couldn’t find the property in VRBO anymore, so we messaged Casago asking for links to the listing and amenities, but the links they sent didn’t work. Upon arrival we discovered the elevator not operational. We promptly reported the problem to Casago. They asked us to send pictures of the control panel, which we did, and they said they would send maintenance or otherwise address the issue. They dragged out communication back and forth for the entire week of our stay, continually promising to address the elevator issue, and never offered any resolution or compensation. We had paid the pet fee and had to carry our elderly 78lb Labrador up and down the numerous stairs multiple times daily to potty etc. Never before have I not received some compensation or satisfactory resolution after raising a legitimate issue with a rental agency. It was the WORST experience I’ve ever had with any rental company EVER. Do not rent from Casago! VRBO was also disappointing in that when I called them after check out to complain about Casago, the response was that they couldn’t do anything since we had already checked out! After over 1 hour 45 minutes on the phone with VRBO, they finally offered me a nominal credit (less than the pet fee)Otherwise the house itself, although a bit run down and in need of numerous additional repairs, was as expected.
