Danegelts Waveney Marshes Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful listed building, with all the quirky features that come with that. Fab table of drinks, biscuits, and homemade cake on arrival. Lots of extra space for us to use, was unexpected. Quality of bed linen was high, and really appreciated. Every area was immaculately clean! Which is a task, in such an old property. Lovely breakfast, quality ingredients, home baked muffins and sourdough bread! Just a wonderful place to stay. Edward and Aina have obviously worked very hard to make everything perfect, so thank you.

On site parking, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable bed & bedding, large bedroom and bathroom with great shower pressure and hot water. We didn’t partake in breakfast, but if the freshly baked home made Victoria sponge was anything to go by I would imagine that was excellent too!!

There was no tv which was a bit of a surprise, but I’m sure that was on me for assuming. To be honest it made us read and quiz which made a nice change!

Edward and Aina were perfect hosts and ensured our stay was comfortable and relaxed. We had the place to ourselves and everything was well thought through. The breakfast was fantastic, we were looked after extremely well and they went out of their way to meet my dietary requirements, the cakes were lovely too 😊. The location was great with beautiful views, and well situated for our stay. A short walk to one of the local pubs, and another about 40mins walk or 10min drive.

Be careful of the stairs, it's an old listed property and has cottage winder stairs. We managed fine but others may struggle. No TV but didn't affect our stay, again may bother others. If you're tall beware of ceiling heights and beams. As long as you can cope with these, I highly recommend staying here!

The house is beautiful and very well maintained. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
