Perfect location. Bargain. Clean, tidy, cant fault

Location suited for work Only reason not a 10 was that no obvious bin in the kichenette and the previous guests suasage roll was in the fridge

We stayed in the Bruce suite, what a wonderful place this is. Very comfortable and eloquently decorated. A wonderful location with easy bus routes into Halifax. Spacious, very comfortable bed and the hosts were first class. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Loved how modern it is, it had everything we needed and was a good amount of space.

Took us a while to get things working (heating etc), the shower drain was blocked (which was fixed). But there was no welcome pack with any WiFi details or instructions on how to work certain things etc. I would also urge people to consider what night of the week they’re staying. We booked the Easter weekend as we were visiting friends in Halifax and on both nights they had live music until 11:30pm and gone midnight on the Sunday night. Then the pub remained open until last 1am with very loud patrons shouting and slamming doors downstairs. Really difficult to get a good nights sleep. The music itself was insanely loud, in fact vibrating the entire flat. If you can handle it, go for it, but I think it’d be courteous of the owners to inform people of times that the music will be playing so we could plan accordingly. Visitors would have no idea about live music going on if they weren’t familiar with the area.
