Great for socialising with a group of friends/family, location was great as we were here for a golf tournament at Mendip golf club.

Nothing to complain about, just a few things that would be great…… Bed linen alittle scratchy. Prosecco glasses would be a good touch Outdoor bbq would be lovely too

The property was well maintained, spacious, warm and bright. Being on one level, it was ideal for the young and old alike; easily accessible. It was close to local amenities, with plenty of parking.

The property itself was very nice with a good outside space, The layout of the property is good, the rooms are all a good size. The beds are comfortable with good quality bedding throughout. The addition of fans were very welcome with the current heatwave, the kitchen is well set out and fairly well equipped, could do with slotted spoons, a sieve and a metal fish slice for turning eggs etc, There is enough seating for the amount of people the property accommodates. The dinning table is quite unstable so care is needed not to lean on it or risk spillages. The property is nicely furnished and interior decorating is very nice. We appreciated the little welcome pack and the dog friendly items were a nice touch although we didn't have a dog with us. We enjoyed some of the games and jigsaws left in the property and the children's books in he twin room is a nice touch. The property is located around 1/2 an hour away from Longleat which was our main reason for the trip and about the same from Wookey hole, there are several supermarkets within a short drive of the property.

The low level cleaning was ok but there was a lot of cobwebs in every room, although some were high up, many were within easy reach and should be cleared. The cobwebs high up are very obviously quite old due to the amount of dust and insects visible. Something to open the Velux windows would be helpful for ventilation and to allow flies and wasps out. The property is finished to a low standard throughout, especially in the bathrooms, not what I was expecting and not what I would of accepted in a property of my own. Outside could do with a table and some sort of shade. The broken chair mention in earlier reviews is still in the garden. Although the garden is enclosed the gap under the gate would allow any dog out. The most disturbing thing was noticed by my husband on the last morning when he used the ensuite, there are two ceiling lights that do not meet safety standards, they have exposed wires with no ceiling fixtures and are directly above the shower. This is something that should be corrected as soon as possible, My husband was surprised that it had been missed during the building inspection following the conversion.
