Pine Bay is a charming home tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of Bay Vista. It has breathtaking, vast views of the Lewes/Rehoboth Canal, Thompson Island, and Rehoboth Bay. The home is minutes away to the beaches in Rehoboth and Dewey and shopping at Tanger Outlets. The home is 4 bedroom, 3 full baths, all situated on a single floor. There is a main living/family room, kitchen, dining room, and sunroom with a porch off the back surrounded by a fully fenced in yard.
The Space:
The property includes a single level (2 steps to get up to the front door) , 4 bedroom, and 3 bathroom home. This is a truly unique property being minutes to the beaches and downtown, but nestled in the back of the Bay Vista neighborhood to enjoy panoramic views of the Lewes Rehoboth Canal, Thompson Island, the Indian River Inlet Bridge, and Rehoboth Bay.
Kitchen:
- Appliances include stove, oven, full size fridge/freezer with ice maker, sink with garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig and drip coffee machine, blender, electric kettle and toaster.
- Kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking items as well as basic spices and olive oil.
- We also provide paper towels, sponges, trash bags, dish/hand soap, and dishwasher detergent.
Main Living Room:
- TV with streaming capabilities (complimentary Netflix, Apple TV and Peacock)
- Cabinet filled with games and puzzles for all ages
- Electric fireplace
- Swivel chairs to enjoy the outside view or turn to face the TV
Sunroom and Deck:
- Sitting area to relax and take in the views
- Bar height bistro table and chairs
- Outside patio table with 6 chairs
- Propane grill (propane tank is provided)
- Fully fenced in yard

Our family of 8 enjoyed a week at Danielle’s place on the bay. While we tend to stay close to the beach when in Delaware, we opted for Danielle’s house because of the fenced in yard for our pup as well as the layout of the house. Speaking of which, the layout is ideal. Traveling with my parents and in-laws, who are all in their 70’s, was made more convenient as the entire living space is on one level and each pair of grandparents had their own en suite bathroom. One of the best features of the property is that there are several places for everyone to congregate together or split off into smaller groups. The sunroom and deck were perfect for admiring the views of Rehoboth Bay and Thompson Island. Additionally, there was wildlife to be found everywhere, ranging from numerous species of birds to multiple families of deer.The entire home was spotless and the central air was clutch, especially on a few of the warmer days we had. We also appreciated the ability cook our own meals a few of the nights, and the kitchen as well as grilling area were more than ample. Route 1 between Lewes and Dewey Beach seems to get busier and busier every time we come down, so it was really nice to have a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood to sit back and unwind- especially when we didn’t want to fight the beach traffic. Danielle was a pleasure to work with, and we would 100% stay here again.

Our stay was the best! Danielle started with a hand written note and gift bag as we checked in. The house was impeccably clean and filled with everything you need from mini bathroom products to all the kitchen equipment needed to personal temp options for each room. I highly suggest this property and we will be back! Thank you Danielle!
