I booked this property to host a retreat, and from start to finish Tommaso and Martina were wonderful hosts. Before we arrived, they were extremely responsive, answering all my questions and sharing helpful recommendations for local guides, tours, and products. They even welcomed me for a pre-retreat visit, which made planning so much easier. When our group arrived, a large, beautiful welcome basket full of local products was waiting for us — such a thoughtful touch! The old farmhouse has been lovingly remodeled, keeping its original Tuscan charm while adding modern, beautiful details throughout. The view over the Casentino Valley is absolutely stunning, and the property has so many places for guests to enjoy: a pool, hot tub, and sauna, plus lovely spots to rest, read, and take in the scenery, from the hammock and swinging chair to the lounge chairs. We had a couple of small hiccups at the start (the oven wasn’t working, and a fuse for some outlets in one room had blown), but they responded right away and immediately sent someone to fix both issues. We had a lovely stay at their beautiful property and would highly recommend it, especially for groups and retreats. Grazie mille, Tommaso and Martina!

As mentioned above, we had an issue with the oven and some outlets, but they fixed these right away. The sauna is wood burning, rather than electronic, so better instructions on how to use this would be helpful since most people are not familiar with a wood burning sauna.

The location and its facilities were excellent. It was so great to have air conditioning in the rooms as it was hot during our time there.

N/A - one suggestion would be to have a small kitchenette or coffee facilities and maybe a small refrigerator for the second home. It could be even placed down in the same room as the gym.
