Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez notre sympathique hôtesse ! L'hébergement est très propre et très confortable. Il est, qui plus est, idéalement situé, à deux pas du centre historique et de la gare, mais aussi d’un petit Monoprix, d’un magasin Utile et de plusieurs restaurants.

A real review of two halves! Probably the most difficult review we have had to write! Access was easy and the location excellent. One the edge of the "tourist central" area of Arles - the apparment is in a quiet street but just 5 mins walk to the amphitheatre! Fantastic! Around the appartment (which is just a 10 minutet walk from the station, but there is no train noise) - there are plenty decent, well priced restaurants and bars where money goes further and quality and authenticity is first class! The property was super clean and there were plenty of nice touches - more coffee as needed, nibbles etc - and the owner was helpful and responded immediately and positively! Communication was excellent - probably the best we have ever had for a property - and we stay in 50+ hotels / appartment each year! Really good and positive. The property is just as portrayed in the photos / description - and for a one/two night "cosy / intimate" stay, it would probably work.

However, there were aspects that didn't work for us. The appartment was baking hot in the heatwave of 2026. The air con simply wasnt cool enough. It was a setting issue that was the problem - the system appeared new and worked fine, but the lack of guest control was a problem. Communication with owner got everything sorted in the end, but we had an extremely uncomfortable first night. There is a microwave and the property is "sold" as an appartment with fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery etc, but there is no sink! Washing up has to be done in the tiny bathroom basin! Not easy and not what we expected. To be fair, the description doesn't say there is a sink, but with kitchen equipment included, its something we expected at this price - food bits and face wash in the same sink - it didn't work for us. The ceiling of the main room is very low! I'm 1.8m - not especially tall - but half the main room is below my head height. I couldn't stand up straight and there is a beam across the middle of the room that must be less than 1.75m above the floor. I met it more than once! Not wrong, but not comfortable, especially when staying more than one or two nights. The jacuzzi bath came with instructions warning of testing absolutely everything at the start of our stay and alerting of any problems immediately to avoid breakage or misuse bills. We tested it and it appeared to work well, but we were too scared to use it. Maybe owner had issues with misuse by others in the past - but we didn't get the right fell and didn't want to risk a problem or a bill in this area. We decided not to use it. We booked the property expecting cosy and intimate, but in truth we found the feel more cramped and superficial. There was nothing actually wrong with anything, but for the price, we would suggest a few less LEDs and some higher quality fittings.
