This classic-yet-modern home was designed in the style of Charleston's side-porch cottages, providing a wonderful atmosphere full of Southern charm, elegant finishes, and cozy living spaces. You'll be able to walk to the pools, the beach, and the community sundeck each morning, and easily return home for lunch prepared on the gas grill or in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Sip cold glasses of sweet tea beneath the ceiling fans on the side porch, spend the afternoon people-watching in rocking chairs on the front patio, and catch unforgettable sunsets on the third-level observation deck.

House was very nice. The bedrooms were roomy and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very nice with adequate utensils etc. The porches were awesome and comfortable. Housekeeping needs to give attention to these outdoor areas as well as the indoor areas. The sofas were covered in stretchy slipcovers that didn't stay in place and were not what was pictured in the listing. The front/porch door was very hard to open but seems that this could be an easy fix. We received texts and emails with check in and check out instructions but they did not give the same information so be sure to check all communications to be sure you are properly informed about all aspects of your stay. Overall it was a great stay.

We loved this house for a mothers daughters trip!! Lots of sleeping and hanging out space. The second floor porch/piazza was a highlight. Great location for villages and shopping area. Rented bikes and a golf cart to get around. Beach and pool at the end of the street. Very each and affordable to have a beach section of chairs and umbrellas each day. Great house and area. We loved SSI!!

We recently stayed at this home for our vacation. The location was great—just a short walk to the beach and pool—and the home offered adequate space for our family. It was also well stocked with beach gear and kitchen essentials, which we appreciated.That said, for the price we paid, we expected a much higher level of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. The home was outdated in style, and we were instructed not to set the AC below 72, making it uncomfortably warm at night and resulting in poor sleep. The master bedroom had only two flat pillows for the king-size bed, and the sheets were stiff and scratchy. Towels were stained, and many furniture items, bedding, and decorative pillows also had visible stains.All TVs were older models with only basic cable—no streaming or smart TV options—which was disappointing during a few rainy afternoons. The remotes were sticky and taped together. There was a cabinet of games, but most were incomplete and disorganized. No coffee was provided, and the “stocked” toiletries were half-used, old, travel-sized bottles.For the premium price, this rental simply didn’t deliver. Basic expectations—like cleanliness, coffee, usable toiletries, and a comfortable sleeping environment—were not met. While the location was great, we would not return.
