The property was clean except for some cob webs here and there (windows/lamps). There were some issues. Good things first: rustic and quiet with AWESOME views—we saw bears almost every day (!!!), enough rooms for all of us (13), game room for the kids, hot tub everyone LOVED, new decking with plenty outdoor chairs, and the ‘host’ was always easy to text and responded quickly (much appreciated!). The issues: It did state a pullout couch in the description which wasn’t there, but a nice blow up mattress with bedding was provided the next morning. (Plenty of extra quilts and pillows.) Flickering light going up the stairs, changed midway through our stay. Leaking living room ceiling we think from AC but it was VERY scant and did not affect our stay. Lowest level shower did not have a knob to adjust the temperature of the water and the dryer was inconsistent—took a long time to dry clothes. Host is aware now. Lastly, king size bed had a broken crossbeam (?) so it sagged in the middle—we actually didn’t check this until the night before we left. As reported in a previous review, the oven glass door is taped and it worked fine but the blender and mixer didn’t seem to work—could’ve been operator error. They may want to consider upgrading the pots (worked fine, just older), get bakeware, leaving more trash bags (only one) and dishwasher soap (again only one). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return! I will add the stairs to the second and third floor are steep but doable.
