Had everything we needed, the little bits that you always forget like washing up liquid, tea, coffee etc.

The property had a foisty smell throughout that immediately hit you when you opened the front door. Once inside you got used to it, but once home all of our clothes needed to be washed as it was a very strong smell. There was no blind in the bathroom which is needed as it backs onto an open field with children playing. The main bedroom the bed linen had a Smokey smell to it which as non smokers made us feel a little sickly. The main big blind in the kitchen could not be closed and we had issues with the tv in the living room, which the host helped us resolve and really did go above and beyond to help us get it working. Also to get into Buxton it is quite a steep bank and getting back up was like an Olympic sport, would recommend driving down.

Very convenient location. Short but steep walk to the town centre. Property was clean, comfortable and the welcome pack was excellent.

Great communication with Ben the host before and while at the property. He was easy to contact and quick to respond. Informative information about everything in the house and checking in etc was sent before and again after arrival. He has gone to a huge effort to make guests feel comfortable at his property including having plenty of games to play. The property was well equipped with everything you need for a stay. It is spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfortable, the towels were super soft. It is a great location to explore and supermarkets, pubs etc were very close. Parking was out the front of the property on the road but had no issue getting a park. The property is in a very quiet location. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay. Ben truly is a superhost.
