Summary:
Dream Scape
The Space:
Visit California's gorgeous and rocky coast in style, with a stay at this three-bedroom Fort Bragg retreat boasting a contemporary style, a Japanese soaking tub, ocean views, and a location right near sandy beaches and picturesque, wind-swept bluffs. And good news for your furry family members - it's even dog-friendly!
The location offers the best of both worlds - just two miles from downtown Fort Bragg, yet you'll be surrounded by peace and tranquility. The charming town of Mendocino lies just a few miles to the south, with the Sea Glass Museum, Point Cabrillo Light Station, and Casper Headlands State Beach right on the way.
Beach access is available via a scenic trail through a nature preserve, approximately a 5-minute walk from the home. Please note that reaching the beach requires navigating a short 5-foot drop with the assistance of a knotted rope, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or small children. More easily accessible public beaches are just a short drive away.
When you aren't out getting your feet wet in the surf or having a pint of stout at North Coast Brewing Company, the clean white walls, neutral color palette, and hardwood floors will delight all in your group. For entertainment, you'll have WiFi, cable TV, both DVD and VHS player, and a stereo with a CD player. There's a gas fireplace for warmth and ambiance, and a patio complete with an outdoor gas grill.
The full kitchen is complete with major appliances, plenty of counter space, and all the pots, pans, and gadgets you'll need to whip up a feast. And besides the formal dining table, there's also a small kitchen table for snacks or even setting up a board game for the kids.
While here, you'll also have a washer and dryer so keeping your clothes clean while on vacation is no problem! Don't forget that soaking tub - it's the perfect way to end a busy day.
Whether you spend your time hiking along bluff trails or looking for a souvenir to bring home at one of the many shops in Fort Bragg or Mendocino, this Dream Scape vacation home is the perfect coastal getaway for families or couples traveling together with kids.
Pack your bags and come explore gorgeous Mendocino county when you stay at this modern and bright Northern California Coast retreat!

It was apparent that cleanliness was a priority....you could feel it when you enter the place. The house being spread out allowed our gang to each have their privacy when needed. We did a whole Thanksgiving spread and didn't want for any kitchen cooking pots, pans or utensils. What stood out was the brown water that came out of all the faucets when the hot water was turned on. We called and were told that it had to do with the recent rains and the tannins in the local trees and that if we ran the hot water for a bit the brown would go away, which it did...push back on that would've gone nowhere but truth be told it probably had more to do with the water heater needing to be either flushed or replaced and/or that the plumbing might need a look....with that said we would not hesitate to return....we liked it that much especially knowing that this problem will probably be addressed...
