We had a great one-night stay. The house was clean and tidy, and everything was well prepared for our arrival. Towels and essentials were provided, which made our stay very comfortable. The location was convenient, only about a 10-minute Uber ride from the city centre. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to messages, which made everything easy. It was perfect for what we needed, and we would happily stay again.

Nothing it was perfect for what we needed

The location was ideal, and it meant the whole party could be together. The communal area was nice and it was useful to have 3 bathrooms with 9 girls staying. It was nice of the host to allow us to drop bags before the check in time, as it meant ease for us. Good variety of facilities, fresh towels.

> Unfortunately, there were several aspects of the property that disappointed us. > Prior to our stay, we had agreed with the property manager that we could briefly drop our bags in the hallway before check-in. When we arrived, the cleaner advised us to put the bags in the front room instead, as she had already cleaned that room. After a three-hour journey, some members of our group did quickly use the upstairs bathroom. We appreciate that this had not specifically been agreed beforehand and apologise for any misunderstanding around this. > However, we want to make clear that **none of our cleanliness concerns were raised based on the condition of the property during this bag drop-off**. We fully understood that the cleaner was still working at that point and obviously would not expect the house to be fully cleaned midway through a clean. The issues we subsequently reported and photographed were found **after the cleaner had finished and we had properly checked into the property**. > Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not to the standard we expected. Several bowls and pans were dirty, and some of the cookware was in such poor condition that it appeared to need replacing. The kitchen was also not adequately equipped for the number of guests the property accommodates, with insufficient plates, glasses and cutlery for everyone. > > We also had significant difficulty locking the front door. We were sufficiently concerned about security that we placed a unit in front of the door overnight for peace of mind. There was also a spotlight in the top bedroom that had dropped from the ceiling. We had difficulty closing and opening the key safe. > The beds were uncomfortable, and each guest was provided with only one very flat pillow, which unfortunately affected our sleep. > We contacted the property manager politely, provided photographs and simply wanted to make them aware of the issues.
