The place is well located making it easy to access the city center with buses available nearby. The beds were also very comfortable having booked it for my parents, they enjoyed the comfort of the beds, making their stay lovely. In as much as there are no cooking amenities which they make you aware of, they provided a microwave, fridge and kettle making it great when warming take-out food and also preparing coffee and tea in house. Overall, it's a great place.

Nothing, the place was good. The only thing worth noting is, it may be good to get food closer while in the city center as there are limited places nearby and some close quite early but with the close proximity to the city center, it makes it easily accessible.

Few things missing in the rooms. Hotel staff advised. Initial room was not as expected due to size of room and no desk, however staff were excellent in finding another room.

I was in Edinburgh during the Riding of the Marches and everything was booked up. I booked this room online and it was an exceptional deal given the other prices being charged. I was able to access the property by bus from downtown Edinburgh and only walked a few blocks. There were several restaurants within walking distance, including a carry out pizza place that offers gluten free pizzas. The location felts safe when walking in the area, even after dark. The only downside was the return bus trip didn't work out because of reduced bus schedules on Sunday. I ended up walking a little over a mile to the train, where I could purchase a ticket from a machine to get back to Edinburgh. Not too bad, just something to be aware of if you are traveling without a car. The room was small but clean with a comfortable bed, basic dishes, microwave and mini-fridge. Nice shower and responsive assistance. I would recommend to anyone looking for economical accommodations near Edinburgh. Looked like there were some nice resale stores nearby for economical shopping as well!
