Palmea Suites

We loved everything about Palmea Suites! Newly built and such high quality and attention to detail within the suites. The whole place is so thought through with the guests in mind. We were upgraded to a private pool suite as it was our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. It was incredible and they have floating sun beds for the pool too which are so fun and enjoyable. The main pool is also lovely - in particular the quality of the sun loungers. The suites were cleaned daily by the very friendly team. Our towels were regularly swapped. We can’t fault the place. Great location. Loved having the washing machine too. We will be back!

Nothing!

First of all: we got a free upgrade to the room with a private pool and its everything you want for the perfect holiday stay. The beanbags for the pool are an absolute highlight for floating around and reading a book in the pool. Besides that the room is equipped with everything you need. All the staff was so nice, especially the breakfast girl! Would definitely go back!

small number of rooms, very clean and relaxing area

The beds were comfy, the decor was very tasteful, the pool was wonderful for swimming, and everything felt very new. The self-catering facilities were brilliant – a fridge, microwave, kettle, plus chopping board and so much more. Really useful, and top quality. Very clean, and useful towels, robes and beach bag in the room.

Breakfast was a HUGE disappointment, especially for the price of the accommodation. I would have expected proper espresso coffee (not Nespresso machine coffee); fresh-to-order hot food made by a chef (not heated-up package pancakes or a flavourless omelette); plus a buffet selection of pastries, yoghurts and food (there was nothing extra offered). It didn't feel generous or high-quality. I arranged with the accommodation to book a transfer for our journey back to the airport. But, when it came time to be picked up, nothing arrived. I chased them and they claimed the taxi was stuck in traffic, but I think they'd actually forgotten to book one. This meant we were late, nearly missed check-in closing time and got to gate just as the final call was made. It's so crucial they don't make mistakes like this! No bar by the pool – a missed opportunity for them and made it a bit less relaxing/fun for us. The accommodation should probably should be adults-only. Children arrived on our final day and were quite loud when sitting in our private pool area, and quite disruptive in the pool.
