Rooms were clean staff were so good and helpful

Great suite apartment style for a family travelling. Comfortable and clean with great facilities.

There is no drop off bay or short term parking out front making it difficult to load/unload if bringing a car. Fine if you’re getting dropped off.

I was travelling alone and had specifically requested a quiet room on a higher floor, which was accommodated. The room itself was well presented, and the hotel's location and facilities were very good. However, the room allocated to me was an interconnecting room, which made me feel somewhat uneasy as a solo traveller. While I appreciate that the connecting door was locked, it is not an ideal room type for someone staying alone. Unfortunately, the guests in the adjoining room returned at approximately 3am and appeared to try opening the connecting door from their side. This woke me and left me feeling quite uncomfortable. In addition, there was a persistent rattling noise coming from within the room throughout the night, which further impacted my ability to get a restful night's sleep. I raised these concerns with the receptionist the following morning, and he was courteous and understanding. While I appreciate his response, I do feel that the issues experienced significantly affected my stay. Given the circumstances, I believe some form of goodwill gesture, such as a partial refund or a complimentary future stay, would have been appropriate and would have given me the opportunity to experience the hotel again under better circumstances. The stay was certainly not all negative. The hotel has a lot of potential, and the location, facilities, and overall standard of the room were all very good. However, the issues outlined above had a considerable impact on my overall experience and ultimately left me with a less favourable impression than I had hoped for.
