space and cleanliness

outside area let villa down Part of fencing missing. No parasols for sunbeds which in June isnt acceptable. We had to go and buy one even though we asked where they were. area round back of pool scruffy and dirty. Has been lovely at some point with water features but not now. large veranda but only one small old glass table an d as previously mentioned outside kitchen area couldnt be used- chairs not big enough. The kitchen needed bigger glasses for drinks and perhaps some kitchen roll and antibacterial spray to clean the tops after use. Lack of toilet rolls and the ones there were paper thin! The steep hill outside the property was a disadvantage. Needed a car.

The villa was large, in a nice location.

The villa itself is nice, but the outdoor area really lets it down. It’s advertised as prestige, yet there were weeds growing everywhere, sections of fencing falling down, and several broken sun beds. The fixed outdoor table is beautiful, but the chairs are far too small to sit at comfortably, which makes it hard to enjoy meals outside. Inside, the basics were also lacking, not enough glassware and no Prosecco glasses at all, which you’d expect in a property marketed at this level. The biggest issue was losing power on our last day. We woke up with no electricity the day before we were due to leave, and despite many messages and calls, support was minimal. An electrician was eventually sent, but he left without fixing the fault and left broken plaster and bits of wire all over the floor. By the morning we left, the electricity still wasn’t restored and no communication whatsoever! Overall, the villa has potential, but the outdoor maintenance and guest support need serious improvement before it can be considered truly prestige.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Accommodation is on a steep hill. Walking there is difficult.
