A vacation rental in the heart of the charming village of Bonneval-sur-Arc. Designated one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in France,” it is the last village before the Italian border, nestled in the heart of the Haute-Maurienne region. Bordered by the Vanoise National Park, it is a true haven of peace in the heart of the mountains. In the summer, hiking and mountain biking trails start right from the vacation rental. In winter, the family-friendly Bonneval ski resort is 1 km away. The Bessans cross-country ski area is 7 km away. The Italian border is accessible via the Col du Mont Cenis (25 km) and the Col de l’Iseran (14 km). Shops and services are available in the village center, but only during the season. A charming old farmhouse, La Maison du Pape was once the home of the owners’ grandparents. Its name pays tribute to the grandfather, a former high-mountain guide who often traveled to Italy. The cottage has retained the spirit of the place: exposed beams, four-poster beds, and a warm, inviting interior. An authentic atmosphere where you can feel the history of the past. Apartment in the center of Bonneval on two levels. First floor: kitchen, separate restroom. First floor (attic): 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 160x200 cm / 1 double bed 160x200 cm), 2 single bunk beds 90x190 cm in a mountain-style corner, lounge area, bathroom (walk-in shower). Terrace behind the cottage with a barbecue. Public parking 200 m away.
