Gran Hotel Claridge Granada - Preferred Hotels & Resorts

Wow! My husband and I had a wonderful time at Gran Hotel Claridge in Granada! Brand new since May, this five star hotel delivered! The staff-above and beyond! The room decor and cleanliness-outstanding! The location right beside the Granada Cathedral and in the heart of historic Granada-perfect! Rooftop breakfast and pool with cathedral view-fabulous! I’ve already recommended this hotel to a friend coming to Granada this month. Highly recommend this hotel!! Special thanks to Helena, Felipe, Pablo and Lorenzo!

The room was large and comfortable. The staff was excellent. Our concierge, Lorenzo was fantastic, he helped us get entry to the Alhambra. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and restaurant with the view of the cathedral.

We enjoyed the water circuit in the spa, however, the floor in there was so slippery that it felt quite dangerous. Also, daily water bottle replacement would have been nice.

Location was amazing and the hotel was very clean and the prices were much cheaper than we expected

When we walked through the doors we didn’t feel overwhelmed in any way On arrival we had to ask for water when sitting down being checked in, drinks are always offered on arrival in a 5 star hotel, first lunch we had completely the wrong order for our food, we had no water in our room .. service just was really slow throughout our stay, orders wrong and hard to order simple coffees as the language was a barrier We both agreed that there was no ambience in the main areas of the hotel, no background music and main areas were always empty We were super excited to stay in this new hotel but there was something disappointing about it
